The AAS degree in Nursing at PVCC prepares graduates to be vital members of the healthcare team. Graduates provide direct patient care as beginning practitioners of professional nursing in settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, doctors' offices, clinics and schools. Graduates will be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN Examination, which is required for licensure as a registered nurse (RN).
