JST is the Joint Services Transcript that replaced the Coast Guard Institute Transcript, the Army/American Council on Education Registry Transcript System (AARTS) and the Sailor/Marine American Council on Education Registry Transcript (SMART). JST is accepted by Virginia’s Community Colleges to validate your military occupational experience and used to translate your experience into academic credits. By submitting your JST, you may be eligible for academic credit to apply to your program that will help you save time.
