The two-year associate degree in nursing (ADN) program is designed to prepare graduates to be contributing members of the health care team, providing direct patient care as beginning practitioners of professional nursing in structured care settings. Graduates of the ADN program will be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN Examination required for licensure as registered nurses (RN). Employment opportunities for registered nurses include staff positions in hospitals, extended care facilities, physicians’ offices, clinics, and other structured health care settings.
