Northern Virginia

OAR-Arlington: Provides pre-release services in Arlington, Alexandria, and Coffeewood facilities, and post-incarceration services for residents of Arlington, Alexandria, and Falls Church.
OAR-Fairfax: Serves Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties. Offers pre-release services in local detention centers and post-incarceration assistance.
FailSafe-Era: Offers the "Right Road Reentry" program and scholarship opportunities for families in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Stafford.
Loudoun County: Provides job training classes at no cost to residents.

Central Virginia

OAR-Richmond: A comprehensive network offering pre- and post-reentry services, including a violent offender program, youth training, and job readiness.
OAR-Jefferson Area: Serves Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Goochland, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Orange, and Nelson through OAR-JACC.

Virginia Workforce Connection: The primary state employment service used by reentering citizens. Employers often use this portal specifically to recruit returning citizens.

Virginia-Specific Support and Training

Virginia Bonding Program: This program provides free $5,000 fidelity bonds to employers for the first six months of a returning citizen's employment. These bonds protect employers against potential loss and serve as a powerful incentive during the hiring process.
