The Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Career Studies Certificate is designed to prepare students for employment upon graduation as technicians in the energy sector with emphasis on installation of solar, wind, and geothermal power generation systems. Possible employment options are Solar Power Technician, Wind Energy Technician, and Power System Service Technician.
Outcomes
The following topics will be covered Safety, Basic Electricity, Energy Efficiency, Solar Energy Systems, Wind Power Systems, and Hybrid Systems.
