The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS), AAS Degree at PVCC prepares you for a job in many types of healthcare settings. The primary job for graduates is as an entry level DMS technologist in hospitals, clinics or doctor's offices, where ultrasound exams are performed as part of a patient's evaluations. Graduates of this program are eligible to take the ARRT Sonography Certification Exam and the ARDMS Certification Boards.
