This program follows the National EMS Education Standards for the Advanced EMT (AEMT) provider level. Classes expand on topics covered in the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) content including anatomy & physiology, medical and trauma topics. Skills learned include; IV access and medication administration. Graduating from the program will result in being able to sit for the National AEMT exam. Students in this program must maintain current EMT and CPR certifications throughout the program.
