Completion of SCIE 101 is not required for this course. This course provides an integrated study of science principles with an emphasis on the life sciences (biology, environmental, human biology). These underlying principles help to connect knowledge of the natural world to the context of everyday life, including topical issues. Lecture and lab are integrated. Three hours lecture and three hours lab. A lab fee is required.
