ENVS111: Environmental Sciences And Sustainability I
Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory. This course offers an interdisciplinary introduction to the scientific study of the earth with an emphasis on environmental changes and their implications. Topics focus on human and biological dimensions, including population and community ecology, species interactions, environmental health, and environmental law and policy. Special emphasis is placed on scientific literacy, using environmental examples to teach students how to explore, interpret, and analyze issues affecting the planet. A lab fee is required.
