BIO206: Human Anatomy & Physiology II

The course, which is intended for health science majors and designed to complement Biology 205, provides a comprehensive and systematic knowledge of the structure and function of the human body through an integrated approach, specifically addressing the endocrine system; the cardiovascular system; the immune system; the digestive system; the respiratory system; the urinary system; and the reproductive system.   • Describe the organs and general functions of the respiratory system.
  • Name the organs of the urinary system and list their general functions.
  • Explain the importance of water and electrolyte balance.
  • State the organs and general functions of the male and female reproductive systems.
