COMM201: Public Speaking
This course introduces students to effective speech preparation and delivery with an emphasis on the extemporaneous mode of natural and direct communication. In particular, this course emphasizes selecting and organizing material, securing audience interest and attention, and executing elements of effective delivery. Additionally, students will learn methods for analyzing, critiquing, and evaluating public discourse.
